Hmm, this turned out o.k i guess
a bit diferent from how i imagined... This is an illustration that I did freehand for the book Betrayed: a house of night novel by PC Cast (an AMAZING BOOK!!!!!!!) Anywho, it's about a school in a world just like ours, except in which vampires and humans coexist. In this book, turning into a vampire is seen as a natural occurence in nature where there's this gene that some people are born with that trigures a sort of hormone in the body - VIA turn into a vampire. The House of Night is the school where all newly changing vampires go to. The woman with red hair, whose face i think turned out a bit... lopsided? is the High Priestess Neferet. The Blond is supposed to be Aphrodite and the Dark haired girl is of course Zoey Redbird. Hopefully I'll get some time to do zoey and neferet more justice, but i think it turned out pretty good anyways  Done with:: Pen, pencil crayons, and mostly water colors and a hint of PS. ENJOY! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
